Catch Great Live Theatre in Fort Myers

Fort Myers Florida is a sun lovers destination but also a cultural hotspot.  In fact, the city of Fort Myers has its own theatre district full of great venues and restaurants.  As the weather beings to cool into the fall, check out a few of these great live theatre sports in our city and enjoy a night out on the town. 

The Florida Repertory Theatre Company

This award winning professional theatre company is renowned throughout Florida and the United States for its superb acting, breathtaking sets and great musical accompaniment.  Situated in the heart of Fort Myers theatre district at the Arcade Theatre, the company has been called “One of America’s Top Repertory Companies.”  Join them this season for a great line up of comedies, dramas and everything in between.  From Oct. 28 through to Nov. 19 catch Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, a zany all new comedy that touches on themes of regret, sibling rivalry and aging. 
 

The Murder Mystery Train 

Hop aboard the Murder Mystery Train for a delightful soirée of food and murder.  Participants will enjoy a five-course meal prepared on board surrounded by an ongoing comical murder-mystery that plays out all night long in the aisles and elsewhere.  Pay attention!  Super sleuths in each dining car are eligible to win prizes.  Catch “The Great Gotsby Murder” show this October, a tribute to Fitzgerald’s quintessential American tale, The Great Gatsby.
